YMCA Membership |
|
When you
become a YMCA member,
you're setting yourself on a life-long journey of healthy
spirit, mind, and body. You're becoming part of an
association that does everything from childcare to health
and fitness to your development to the youth and adult
sports, and much, much more. As a YMCA member, you have many
benefits but you have some responsibilities, too. You will
be asked to get involved and be a champion for the YMCA
values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. You
may be asked to volunteer or contribute to the Y's annual
support campaign that underwrites membership assistance for
those who cannot afford the full fees. The YMCA involves
members in offering their time, talent, and treasure for the
greater good.
|
Our Mission
To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy
spirit, mind, and body for all.
|
Financial Assistance Policy
It is the
mission of the YMCA
is to provide services to all those who need them,
regardless of their ability to pay established fees. Full or
partial assistance, based on demonstrated ability to pay and
the YMCA's ability to fund the amount requested, will be
made available. The YMCA wants to be sure that assistance
goes to those most in need. With information on income,
expenses, and family size, we can award assistance in a fair
and consistent manner. Financial Assistance applications are
available at the Welcome Center Desk. All financial
assistance information is maintained confidential.
