The Miller foundation designated funds for this project. We
have over 18,000 square feet of exercise space. All of
our cardiovascular equipment, weight machines and fitness
studios are in this area. We also have
Broadcast Vision
available for you to enjoy while working out.
You can make an appointment for an equipment orientation to
familiarize yourself with the equipment and weights.
We also have personal Trainers available for an additional
fee. |

Class Schedule
Free
Equipment Orientation - on our
Nautilus Weight Equipment, 60 Cardiovascular Stations,
Hammer Strength
machines, and our Icarian Pin Select & Free
Weights.
When you join the Family YMCA , we want you to feel
comfortable with the fitness equipment and enjoy your
workouts. The fitness staff is trained to provide
basic instruction on fitness equipment and to assist
members in beginning their fitness program.
Schedule your free orientation at the front desk.
Personal Training - Whether you require assistance
with exercise for athletic enhancement, weight loss,
rehabilitative purposes or just for the extra motivation
and challenge, Certified Personal Trainers are
available. Put the expertise and motivation of a
personal trainer to work for you. CONTACT: Julie

(fees are $35 - 45 per hour)
SGPT
(Small Group Personal Training)
- Learn the right way to
lift weights in a small group atmosphere and watch your
body shape change in this 10 week program. A
fitness specialist helps you to reach your personal
goals. Class size is limited to 5 and will be held
in the HEC. Register for a beginner or an
intermediate program.
There is a Fee for this class.

Y
Supervised Exercise - This class is designed for
those who need to be monitored during exercise or who
have coronary heart disease. Free to members.
CONTACT: Barbara Ramsey, Ext. 120.
Wellness Series - Each month the Family YMCA
will incorporate a specific health and wellness topic
into member services and programs. During the
month watch for: Member appreciation days, Special
Events, Educational promotions, and Special children's
activities.
Health Screening - In conjunction with Regional
Medical Lab, the Y offers a complete blood, chemistry
health screening. Tests include lipid panel,
partial blood count, urinalysis, and PSA. A Fee is
charged, varying according to testing. CONTACT:

YMCA
Runners - Members 13 and over may utilize the Family
YMCA track located on the third floor during the
following hours: Monday-Thursday 5:20 - 8:30 am,
12:30-3:30 pm, & 7:30 - 9:00 pm. Friday 5:30 -
8:30 am & 12:30 - 8:00 pm. Saturday 12:30 - 3:00
pm. Sunday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Free to members
Join
the Y Running Team - Program for beginners through
advanced. Participants will run or walk and work
out together. CONTACT: Julie Santure, Ext.
130.
Water
Aerobic Classes - AI CHI, Aqua Power lunch Break,
Twinges in the Hinges, and Supervised Water Exercise.

Teen Strength Training -
A strength
training class for teens ages 13-18.
When: Saturdays 10-11 am
