Now in it's 22nd Year!
|
In
September, for one special and fun weekend,
the Battle Creek area will go all out to show its
growing commitment to good health and fitness.
Created in 1987, the Cereal City Corporate Cup
is organized by the Battle Creek Family YMCA
and sponsored by area corporations and businesses.
As part of the Activate America Program, the
Corporate Cup is a demonstration of community
health, fitness and spirit. It’s a great opportunity
for working men and women to discover the benefits
of feeling and looking their best. Designated
training activities and a summer membership
helps individuals get in shape for this year’s
event. Last year’s Corporate Cup provided fun
and excitement for over 4,000 participants on 36
different teams. This event has become an annual
summer/fall highlight in our area.
|
Who
Wins? |
|
Everyone wins! Points will
be awarded for both
participating and placing in all events. An overall
winner in each division will be determined.
The team with the highest point total will
receive the Cereal City Corporate Cup trophy.
Plaques will be awarded to the top 3 places of
each individual event. |
Entry
Information |
To ensure fair
competition, teams will be divided
into three divisions – Divisions I, II, and III, will
be based on company size. This way companies
of all like sizes will compete in equal divisions.
Team size should be at least 30 members,
and may not exceed 60. Each team member may
participate in multiple events. Companies are
encouraged to field more than one team.
To enter, contact the Battle Creek Family YMCA at
963-9622 x 130. A registration packet will be sent
to you. Entries are limited to the first 75 teams. The
donation to enter a team before June 2 is $600.
Teams may enter until June 30 with a late team
registration and donation totaling $700. |
