Aquatics

The Battle Creek Family YMCA has two pools in its aquatic center.  The 25 yard pool is kept at 82 degrees.  The Therapy pool is 92 degrees with an adjustable floor.     There are always lifeguards on duty when the pool is open.
Both pools offer:

• Swim Lessons
• Water Aerobics Classes
• Lap Swim
• Adult and Family Swim

Multi-Sports Center

The Multi-Sports Center's seven courts are available to Battle Creek Family YMCA members to play on (based on availability:

• Basketball
• Tennis
• Volleyball
• Soccer
• Climbing Wall and Sport Wall
• Electronic batting cage

Family Programs and Activities

Family Nights and Healthy Kids Day are just a few of the many programs and activities at the Battle Creek Family YMCA! 
Also always available;

• Child Watch (6 weeks to 6 years) and Y in the Sky (6 to 12 years)
• Sports in the Multi-Sports Center and Racquetball courts for your family
• Family Swimming in both pools
• Fitness Classes for 10 years and up (marked on Fitness Schedule with *)

WOW!!! Family workout hours! On Saturdays from 11am-1pm and Sundays from 11am -1pm! 10-12 year olds, under supervision of a parent, may use the HEC beginning Feb 5, 2011, only under supervision of a parent . The parents must check in with the HEC staff person on duty at the time of entry. All must be members or buy a family day pass and be able to show their membership card to the YMCA staff.

Lemon Tree Preschool

Lemon Tree Preschool is the Battle Creek Family YMCA's licensed preschool.  Our preschool strives to develop the whole child through activities such as art, music, free play and story time.  Swimming, field trips, special guests and holiday celebrations are included in the curriculum. Classes offered:  4 year old, 3 year old, 3 and 4 year old combined.

Literacy Program

The Battle Creek Family YMCA's Literacy Program is one of the few in Battle Creek that offer child care while participants are in class.  Classes are FREE to the public, please call for appointment.

• GED Online Preparation
• Basic Adult Literacy Classes
